5 Tips For Mixing and Matching Your Earrings

I’ve always championed the look of mismatched ears which I why I sell most of my earrings as singles as well as pairs.  And to celebrate the arrival of my new Ayla earrings - the perfect mismatched pair with removable charms 🙌🏻 I’ve put together some tips for mixing, matching and mismatching your earrings

Be DaringDon't let your earrings be a fashion afterthought! When it comes to mixing and matching your ears, there are no rules! And remember, more than ever before, earrings don't just belong on your lobes anymore!

Play With Length - Get experimental when it comes to length and try adding some longer drop earrings in with your studs and huggies on one ear. Adding a charm (or two) to your existing hoops is a good way to achieve this look!

The More The Merrier - If you love the look of a fully stacked ear but only have a couple of piercings on each side you can try adding a cuff and one of my new Alexis studs to one ear to give the illusion of more piercings without the pain! Keep the other ear a little more simple with a hoop or stud or two for balance.

Stacking - When stacking, remember to start heavier at the lobe with a chunky hoop or drop earring and work your way up to smaller more delicate earrings. Experiment with what works best for your piercings!

Keep Your Other Jewellery Simple - If you're going big and bold by mixing and matching your earrings, keep the other jewellery you are wearing more toned down, you don't want to make your outfit look cluttered.

When you want to mix and match your earrings, it takes a little bit of boldness. Get started with your earring mixing, and you'll never want to wear boring earrings again.
